When is high season?
The summer high season runs throughout the entire month of August.
The winter high season begins on December 20 and lasts until January 6.
Another high season may apply depending on special events in the Antholz Valley – in particular during the annual biathlon competitions and the Carnival holidays, the dates of which vary from year to year.
Antholz is an internationally renowned biathlon venue – in 2026, the valley even hosted the Olympic biathlon events.
Is a deposit required?
To confirm your reservation, we ask for a deposit of approximately 30% of the total price of your stay.
The deposit is non-refundable.
Is there a minimum stay for the holiday apartments?
We accept bookings for a minimum stay of 3 nights.
When is check-in possible?
Check-in is possible from 2:00 p.m.
If you arrive earlier, please contact us in advance – we will let you know whether your apartment is already ready for occupancy.
By what time must the apartment be vacated on the day of departure?
We kindly ask you to vacate the apartment by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure so that we can prepare everything for the next guests.
In case of significant delay, an additional night may be charged.
How are children taken into account in the prices?
Our youngest guests are especially close to our hearts: children from 0 to 3 years stay free of charge. From the age of 4, the regular price applies. This makes family holidays in South Tyrol transparent and easy to plan.
Upon request, we are happy to provide a baby cot so that even our youngest guests feel completely at home during their stay in the Antholz Valley.
Are pets allowed in the holiday apartments at Steinzgerhof?
Pets are very welcome upon prior arrangement. We charge a surcharge of € 12.00 per day per pet.
Please let us know in your inquiry how many and which pets you will be bringing.
We ask for your understanding that we reserve the right to limit the number of pets depending on the apartment.
I can no longer take my holiday – what now?
Cancellations are accepted up to one month before the arrival date.
Please note that the deposit paid cannot be refunded in this case.
Is Wi-Fi available in the holiday apartments?
Currently, Wi-Fi is not available in our holiday apartments.
We are working on expanding internet access in the future.
However, all apartments are equipped with a television offering German- and Italian-language channels.
Many of our guests appreciate the conscious break from digital life and enjoy the peace and nature of the Antholz Valley.
May the barn be visited?
Of course. Visitors of all ages are very welcome in our barn.
During the morning and evening feedings as well as milking times, you will find Josef working with the cows. He will be happy to tell you more about dairy farming and life on the farm.
We kindly ask that you respect the animals’ need for calm, as their well-being is our top priority.
